The AMVER/SEAS main menu allows access to all of the AMVER/SEAS programs. This includes AMVER reports, SEAS reports and Setup, Utilities programs and the Help program.

Sail Plan - Opens the AMVER Sail Plan.
Deviation Report - Opens the AMVER Deviation Report.
Position Report - Opens the AMVER Position Report.
Arrival Report - Opens the AMVER Arrival Report.

SEAS:

Meteorological Observations - Opens the SEAS Meteorological Observations.
XBT Observations - Opens the SEAS XBT Observations.
TESAC - Opens the TESAC Observations;

Setup:

Administration - Opens the AMVER/SEAS Administration Report.
XBT - Opens the XBT enable dialog.
Transceiver - Opens the Transceiver enable dialog.
Other Reports - Opens the Other Reports enable dialog.

Other Report:

Iceberg - Opens the Iceberg Report
Marine Mammal - Opens the Marine Mammal Survey
Buoy - Opens the Buoy Report.

 

Transceiver:

Transmit From PC - Transmit a binary file from the AMVER/SEAS computer.
Transceiver Commands - Allows the user to communicate with the transceiver.

Utility:

Archive Meteorological Data - Archives the seas meteorological data
Set Time Zone - Informs the users how to operate the Windows Date/Time dialog.
Run External Process - Runs the GOSEAS.Bat file
Backup Sail Plans - Backs up the saved Sail Plans to the user desired location.

Exit:

Exit - Closes the AMVER SEAS program. If current Sail Plan is underway that plan is stored in memory for use next time the AMVERSEAS is opened.

Help:

Help - Opens up the HTML help table of contents.
About - Gives the version number of AMVER/SEAS.
